Fletcher Beach is probably my favorite place in Florida to shoot. So when I heard my clients Danielle + Mike were to be married on that very strip of sand, I was ecstatic. It would be my first wedding shoot there, among the limestone formations.
One of the coolest elements of their wedding was Danielle’s tribute to her dad. She pinned his old military ring under her dress, as her dad had passed away years before and she wanted something of his with her.
The most amazing part? During our formals, a C-130 Air Force plane dropped from the sky, and flew right above the water, in front of us. Apparently, that was the aircraft her dad flew back in the day. And the event was completely unscripted. It was chill-worthy. Go ahead, read that again.
The sun soon set on a beautiful wedding, and the party got started in earnest. Danielle + Mike surprised the audience with a perfectly choreographed first dance, and the dancing got lower as the night wore on.
